At our office we offer a gentle instrument adjusting technique, with this instrument there is no "crack" or "popping" noise produce. Kids Adjustment It is a very gentle and very effective way of adjusting the spine and other areas of concern. There are a number of reasons patients or the doctor may prefer to use this technique. For instance this technique may be chosen by the doctor for those with low bone density (osteoporosis) or for a number of other reasons not the least of which could be patient preference.

There are many options to consider when making an adjustment, but the goal of the adjustment is always the same. We offer and perform manual adjustments, that can be used to adjust the spine. A manual adjustment made by the chiropractor consists of a high velocity, short lever arm thrust applied to a vertebra, which is often accompanied by an audible release of gas (joint cavitation). The audible sound is caused by the release of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide, which releases joint pressure (cavitation). manual adjustment

Sometimes manual adjustments are achieved with slow constant pressure which would not create an audible release. The same can be said about drop table adjustments.

The great thing about chiropractic care is that there are many techniques to adjusting the spine. And the types of adjustments received can be tailored to be safe and comfortable for anyone.
